Do you need to have an iphone to book a FaceTim shoot?
Nope, iPhone or Android both work great.
I don’t have anyone / anything to hold the phone
You don’t need anyone else or any fancy equipment. Just two ordinary household items.
How do I get the images after the shoot?
I’ll send you a link to your own private online gallery to choose and download your images.
I don’t get good video call quality where I live, will the images be rubbish?
Video call quality doesn’t affect the quality of the images.
I’m only available at night time when there is no natural light
No daylight means we just get more creative! We can use desk lamps, string lights, computer screens, whatever.
Questions about posing
I don’t know how to look good in front of the camera
I will pose you and talk you through what to do. From the experience of shooting over 800 sessions, I know what looks good.
I’m not a model, will I still look cool?
Everyone is a model on a portrait shoot. Even my lovely mum (see below!).
I only have goofy faces
I love goofy faces!
I’m not photogenic
Neither am I. I will guide you through what looks good so that you look amazing.
I have lockdown hair
Me too, let’s style it out.
I don’t want to have to take my clothes off
You don’t have to. Clothing is completely decided by the person being photographed.
I’m not very interesting
I have shot over 800 FaceTim shoots and every single one has been interesting!
I find having my photo taken really stressful
Don’t worry - this is just a video call in the safety of your own home. You just happen to be paying me to find what looks good and I will direct you.
Do you photograph fat people?
Absolutely yes. I 100% celebrate all bodies and would love to shoot more of a variety of body types.

Do I have to tidy up first?
Not always. We just need a window and a wall.
Does my house have to be cool for my photos to look nice?
No, most of my favourite photos are just a window and a wall. You have a window and a wall right?
My house doesn’t have any good backdrops
All we need is a window and a wall.
My house doesn’t get The Good Light
Every house gets some good light, part of the fun is finding it.
I live alone, the photos will be boring with just me
