Personal Branding Remote Photoshoots
If you have a business and an online presence you probably know that in order for your clients to ‘know/like/trust’ you (and then buy from you!) it’s really helpful to have some lovely photos of your lovely self. The thought of that probably fills you with dread and horror. That’s normal.
I have a solution! Just an easy breezy half hour chat with your old/new pal Tim and as if by magic you’ll have a bunch of gorgeous relaxed photos of yourself, without going anywhere or inviting a big scary photographer with a big scary camera into your space.
(Side note, is there a better phrase than ‘personal branding photos’?! It kinda gives me the ick 😂
But I guess it is what it says it is?!)
Emma got in touch and said:
“I run a small embroidery business from my home studio and I thought it’s about time I got some cute hello reintroduction to who I am type images, but I’m too scared to do in person with a photographer so maybe this will be fun? I also have a doberman who I’d like to get a photo of as she’s the supervisor haha”
How great are they?!

Maggie
“I'm a jeweller, piercer and acupuncturist based in cardigan, west Wales. I’m shy of things like this but love your photos so I’m taking the leap :)”

Bobbi
For transparency, Bobbi is an IRL pal, but not a big fan of being in front of a camera!
From her ‘gram:
”@facetimphotos has taken pretty much every photo I’ve ever liked of myself ~ and as the camera-shy (believe it or don’t believe it, I don’t mind) chaotic goblin that I am, he somehow always manages to capture the wholesome and cute moments in-between all of the nervous laughing, my inability to use a tripod and my incessant fart jokes. I’m sure I don’t make the job easy, but Tim’s a real pro. Not only are his photos beautiful and he has an incredible eye for natural light, but he’s also super fun to work with, a great director and shooting with him always gives my self esteem a super boost. I should make it an annual thing tbh! I literally couldn’t can’t will never be able to thank Tim enough xxx”
