FaceTim Photos hits 4 figures!

Wow.

What started as a lockdown boredom-buster has fully taken over my life!

I cannot believe over a thousand people have joined me on this remote photography adventure, and I’m getting more and more commercial bookings (thanks Lisa & co!) which means that FaceTim Photos is now very much my main-hustle rather than a side-hustle!

I’ve honestly lost track of the number of countries I’ve ‘been’ to, I need to go back and tally up at some point - but it will never not be mind blowing the people I’ve connected with all over the world, from my sofa in Leeds.

The trust people have put in me to capture them as they are, in their home environment has been such a privilege.

Big shout out to the teams at Clos and Shutter for ensuring the technology caught up with the concept, and allowing me to now utilise every last drop of the quality of current phone cameras (which is a LOT!).

I think as someone whose favourite activities are meeting people, and finding and playing with light I might actually have the best job in the world!

I’ve learned so much from the variety of sessions I’ve shot, every one of them has been so different, and yet the process of connecting with the person on the other end of the phone and getting them to a place where they’re able to be their best selves in front of the camera, while hunting out the best light where they are has been pretty much the same every time. Give me half an hour of your time and I promise we can make magic!
